Summer String Camp

SHORT DESCRIPTION: This camp welcomes participants, incoming 4-9th grade students, all levels, to play violin, viola, cello, or bass. String students will gain technical skills on their instrument, increased note reading facility, and composition instruction in a fun, supportive environment. If your student does not own an instrument, they can rent one from Nick Rail Music Store or ask their current music/band teacher to borrow one for the camp.

AGE (OR GRADE): Incoming 4-9 graders

DATES: The camp is two weeks long, June 17-28

HOURS: 9AM to 12 PM Monday-Friday (June 19th is off and observed as a holiday). There will be a final camp concert on Friday the 28th for family and friends.

PRICE: $250 scholarships are available

LOCATION: La Colina Junior High School, Santa Barbara
