About Us
We are real life Moms in Santa Barbara who are dedicated to finding the best (and safest!) summer camps and extracurricular activities for our kids.
After years of sharing Google Docs and asking other parents for their personal camp recommendations, in January 2023 we decided to create our own comprehensive platform with the hope that it would help other parents like us who were looking for the best activities for their kids.
Upon learning that summer and day camps in California were exempt from licensure according to Title 22 of California Department of Social Services Child Care Regulations, we realized how important it was to compile an extensive list that empowers parents with detailed information regarding the safety regulations and accreditation of the camps in the Santa Barbara area so that they can make informed decisions about where they send their children during the summer.
