HEARTS Therapeutic Equestrian Center

Our Summer Camp Horse Experience offers a safe and integrated horse and ranch experience for children ages 6-10. Please note that Summer Camp is NOT a part of our therapeutic riding program and we do not provide therapeutic riding staff or support during our summer camp sessions.

This unique summer learning experience includes:

  • Horsemanship skills

  • How to take care of your horse

  • Horse science learning - learn the parts of a horse and what makes each horse unique

  • Horse art projects

  • Unmounted horse activities - get to know your horse and the power of non-verbal communication

  • Horse herd observation - learn how it relates to peer development

  • Three 1-hour riding lessons with a certified riding instructor

Riders / Campers should bring:

  • pants

  • closed toe shoes

  • lunch, sunscreen

  • reusable water bottle

Hearts will provide a T-shirt and extra sunscreen.

Please note: In the event of inclement weather including excessive temperatures, wind, or rain, Hearts will provide unmounted indoor lessons for the safety of our riders, staff, and horses.

HOURS: 9am - 1pm

DATES: Session 1: June 23 - June 27

Session 2: July 7 - July 11

Session 3: July 21 - July 25

Session 4: August 4 - August 8

PRICE: $750/week

NOTES: Riders / Campers should bring pants and closed toe shoes, also a lunch, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle. Hearts will provide a T-shirt and extra sunscreen.
