Camp Wheez

Camp Wheez is a FREE week-long day camp that blends learning and play in an environment designed to meet the special needs of children with asthma. In addition to activities such as crafts and games, campers learn about asthma and how to confidently manage their symptoms. They enjoy a week full of fun and leave with the knowledge and tools they need to lead healthy, active lives.

Dr. Myron Liebhaber, Sansum Clinic Allergist and Immunologist and Camp Wheez Medical Director, leads a team of physicians, respiratory care practitioners and nurses who ensure that Camp Wheez meets the highest safety standards.

AGE (OR GRADE): Open to children who will be 6 –12 years old and entering grades 1 – 6 on September 1, 2024

DATES: Date: Monday, August 4 through Friday, August 8

HOURS: 8:30am to 12:30pm

NOTES: Campers must bring their own lunch and water bottle. A snack is provided each day. Applications (including Physician Referral) are due by July 19, 2024.
