SHORT DESCRIPTION: Camp Haverim's mission is to provide a high-quality Jewish day camp experience that fosters campers’ social, moral, cultural, physical, and emotional education and development. Camp Haverim is a supportive, caring community camp with an upbeat Jewish flavor, committed to serving families regardless of their background or ability to pay.

AGE (OR GRADE): Camps are divided by grade level (K-6, 7-8), and 9th and 10th graders can be Counselors-in-Training.

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 3:30 pm

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Discounts: Full Summer Discount: Register for all four weeks and save $100. Sibling Discount: Register two or more siblings for a two-week session and save $50 Must be paid in full by June 30, 2024 to receive a discount. Scholarships are available for all age groups.

NOTES: Camp Haverim offers many activities designed to meet our children’s diverse interests and encourage learning and growth. Among those activities are arts & crafts, music, journalism, drama, Maccabia Games, beach days, water play, and a full array of sports.
Icebreakers are used on the first day of each camp session to help the campers feel proud of who they are and help them get to know their fellow campers. Our activity specialists are highly experienced and talented in their areas of expertise and work with our campers to improve and develop new skills, as well as build confidence and self-esteem.

ACA ACCREDITED: Camp Haverim is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). ACA accreditation means that your child’s camp cares enough to undergo a thorough (up to 300 standards) peer review of its operation—from staff qualifications and training to emergency management. The American Camp Association collaborates with experts from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Red Cross, and other youth-serving agencies to assure that current practices at your child’s camp reflect the most up-to-date, research-based standards in camp operation. Camps and ACA form a partnership that promotes growth and fun in an environment committed to safety.
