Safety Town

SHORT DESCRIPTION: Safety Town introduces pre- and post-kindergarten children to a wide variety of personal and public safety topics, including: vehicle safety belts, bus riding, bicycle and pedestrian rules of the road, playground and water safety, domestic violence, verbal and sexual child abuse, and gun and fire hazards. The children learn how to dial 9-1-1 for emergency help and memorize their home address and an important family phone number. The five-day, 17.5-hour program is offered each summer at various elementary school-based locations.

AGE (OR GRADE): Ages 5 - 6 only

HOURS: 8:30AM-12:00PM

PRICE: $200/5-day session

REGISTRATION DATE: Registration for Summer 2024 Opens Saturday March 2 at 6am. Parent/guardian is required to attend a brief parent orientation meeting

CANCELLATION POLICY: Refund will only be made if your child's space can be filled with another child. A $25 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund check. Please direct questions regarding cancellations to the specific school site director, Registration@sbsafetytown.org.
