Cate Summer Outdoors
SHORT DESCRIPTION: Week-long residential outdoors program for current 6th-10th graders. Campers will enjoy all the natural beauty Santa Barbara County has to offer while challenging themselves. An unforgettable week long residential experience that develops leadership skills and builds confidence. Outdoor Adventure campers will enjoy all the natural beauty Santa Barbara County has to offer while challenging themselves with activities such as stand up SUP, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, surfing, and ropes course. Urban Hiking offers campers the opportunity to learn about urban planning, route mapping, and street. As we explore each new neighborhood, we will find creative ways to build trust and kindness within the community. CSO is committed to respecting the rights and dignity of all individuals.
AGE (OR GRADE): Current 6th-10th graders
DATES: Outdoor Adventure - July 8-12, July 15-19, and July 22-26 (residential camper)
PRICE: $1025/week
LOCATION: Cate School, 1960 Cate Mesa Rd, Carpinteria, CA 93013
REGISTRATION DATE: Full payment must be made prior to June 1, 2024. If registration sells out prior to June 1st, payment will be required in full to guarantee your child's spot at camp.
FINANCIAL AID IS AVAILABLE TO THOSE THAT QUALIFY. Participants should apply online and they will receive an email with a FA application. Families will need to return the FA application along with the most recent copy of their tax return. We will announce awards in late March.
