SHORT DESCRIPTION: Camp Elings’ new Storybook Theater Camp promises a creative and fun week for budding thespians aged seven to 12. Campers learn and perform a play from Spotlight’s collection of works specifically designed for young performers, with plenty of roles for both boys and girls.

It’s a fun schedule of rehearsing, painting sets, creating costumes, playing games, making new friends, and performing live on stage. The week culminates with a 30-minute performance for family and friends at the Godric Grove amphitheater.

In addition to our theatrical and improv adventures, we’ll indulge in a variety of summer activities, from tie-dying shirts to fun craft and painting projects. And of course, we can’t forget the ultimate summer pastimes: water balloon battles and pizza parties.” Your child will come home happy and tired.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to boost self-esteem and practice teamwork in a creative environment.

Peter Pan Themed Theater Camp:   July 22nd-26th

At this year’s Peter Pan-themed theater camp, your child will learn scenes from the famous Disney musical and discover the fun of using improvisation as a team sport! Here, students will immerse themselves in this dynamic and approachable tool used by actors to breathe life into characters and foster genuine connections on stage. Through enjoyable exercises and games, children will embrace creative risk-taking, unlocking newfound self-confidence while cultivating empathy, and teamwork.

Aristocat – Themed Theater Camp:   July 29th-August 2nd

At this year’s Aristocat-themed theater camp, your child will learn scenes from the famous Disney musical and discover the fun of using improvisation as a team sport!
